"Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves."
My Invitation To You….
Welcome to my gallery! I am honored that you are here! Over the past few years I have found myself purposefully getting lost all over the Western United States, stumbling across amazing sights and creating memories that I hope to never lose. Some of these sights you are probably familiar with and have seen countless photos of and you may have even taken many of these same photos yourself. Perhaps some of your photos were part of my inspiration to get lost in some of these places. And some of my photos may have you wondering, “where in the world is that?” For me, these photos are part of my personal ongoing story that I mentally scribe on my trek through life.
Now, I begin a new chapter where I humbly share a few of these pages of my story with you. While that green button with the shopping cart that you will see on every gallery and every photo make part of this chapter’s storyline obvious, my sincere hope is that you find this to be only a small part of my tale. I will certainly be honored if one or more of these images personally speaks to you and find a place in your home, your office, or wherever you feel will fits in your life. Ultimately though, my hope is for you to “get lost” in your own imagination as you browse. Nothing would make me happier than to stir some inspiration or serve as a catalyst for your own personal reflection of how you see nature and the priceless gift it offers to those willing to receive. With that, I leave you to your journey with two of my favorite quotes that serve as my compass on my own journeys:
“I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright.” –Henry David Thoreau
“I go to Nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put together.” –John Burroughs
